The Fairfield County ARES Nets are held every Monday night at 7:00 pm local time. All amateur radio operators are welcome and encouraged to check into this net, even if they are not a Fairfield County ARES member.

146.700 Repeater (PL 94.8)

The purpose of this net is:

  • to provide training for local amateur radio operators in emergency
    communication procedures, preparedness, and message traffic handling;
  • to provide all stations the opportunity to practice their skills;
  • and to provide all stations the opportunity to test their equipment for
    proper operation
