The Fairfield County Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications, equipment, and time for communications duty when disaster strikes or for public events.

Fairfield County ARES is here to help in an Emergency and Non-Emergencies.

Fairfield County ARES® can have several functions depending on our community’s needs. Our ARES® team can provide checkpoint communications for events such as parades and marathons, or run special event stations for special town events such as festivals and large gatherings.
